ERISA CLASS ACTIONS

The Brualdi Law Firm has had significant experience in litigating ERISA class actions over the years.  Among others, these cases include:

·    Magliulo v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, No. 01 Civ. 8599 (United States District Court for the Southern District of New York), wherein The Brualdi Law Firm was one of the plaintiff’s counsel in an ERISA class action on behalf of former employees of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, alleging that these former employees were being charged premiums for medical insurance that were excessive and in violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.

·    Schwartz v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, No. 02 Civ. 3208 (United States District Court for the Southern District of New York) wherein The Brualdi Law Firm was one of plaintiff’s counsel in an ERISA class action on behalf of former employees of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, alleging that numerous of these former employees were not receiving an annuity they were entitled to in violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.
